ANREALAGE and Sarah Andelman Bring a New Idea to Harajuku

· Tokyo Street Style · 1 min read

Opening October 29, JUST AN REAL AGE by JUST AN IDEA brings ANREALAGE’s fashion language to everyday objects, changing visuals and a new Harajuku space.

Harajuku’s next fashion address is designed to be explored as much as shopped. On October 29, ANREALAGE and Sarah Andelman will open JUST AN REAL AGE by JUST AN IDEA, a space where fashion, art, design and daily objects meet. Andelman, co-founder of Paris concept store colette, and her team at JUST AN IDEA helped shape the project.

An A-to-Z collection of everyday objects

At the center is “A to Z 26 Iconic Items,” a collection of 26 objects that translate ANREALAGE’s visual language into familiar forms. The reported lineup includes a marble apple, a BE@RBRICK collaboration, a furoshiki made with patchworked fabrics from the brand’s 25 Paris collections, and an omamori that reveals color in sunlight. A limited vinyl release features music composed for ANREALAGE’s runway shows by Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk.

The shop will also present pieces from ANREALAGE’s collections alongside looks from Spring/Summer 2027 “SKIN.” Electronic-paper displays and an LED garment bring the collection’s shifting surfaces into the room. LED walls are intended to make the interior itself feel changeable, extending the brand’s interest in clothing that responds to its surroundings.
